These Terms govern your use of the Mainstage public website, private review workspace, and related services, collectively the “Service.” The Service is operated as Mainstage Review, referred to as “Mainstage,” “we,” “us,” or “our.” By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Mainstage does
Mainstage is an approval-first workflow for preparing original concert, festival, rave, and other live-event recordings for short-form publishing. The Service may help you compare takes, review and trim recordings, add a restrained text hook, prepare editable post copy, provide feedback, approve a final video, download an approved MP4, and optionally send an approved MP4 to your TikTok inbox.
Mainstage does not add generated footage, replacement music, voiceover, or sound effects. Automated text suggestions may be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing all hooks, captions, hashtags, mentions, comments, event details, performer names, track information, and handles before use.
2. Approval and TikTok transfer
Selecting a video is not approval. Approval applies only to the specific revision shown to you. Editing an approved revision revokes that approval.
Approval is not permission to publish. Mainstage does not use TikTok Direct Post. A TikTok inbox transfer occurs only after you choose an approved video and separately confirm the transfer. It sends the approved video file to TikTok as a draft. You must open TikTok, complete any editing or posting steps, and decide whether and when to publish.
Text burned into the video remains part of the video image. Mainstage does not send separate caption, hashtag, mention, engagement-comment, schedule, or privacy metadata with the inbox transfer.
3. TikTok connection
If you connect TikTok, you authorize Mainstage to request the permissions shown on TikTok’s consent screen. The current integration requests user.info.basic to identify the connected account and video.upload to send an approved video to that account’s TikTok inbox. You may disconnect TikTok through the Service. TikTok use is also governed by TikTok’s own terms, policies, and community rules. Mainstage is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by TikTok.
4. Your content and rights
You retain ownership of recordings, text, and other content you provide. You grant Mainstage a limited, nonexclusive license to host, copy, process, edit, display, and transfer that content only as needed to provide the Service and carry out actions you expressly request.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to record, edit, upload, and publish your content. Mainstage does not provide music, performer, venue, trademark, publicity, or copyright licenses. You are responsible for event rules, platform policies, and applicable law.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to upload content you lack the right to use; violate privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or other legal rights; harass, deceive, impersonate, exploit, or harm another person; distribute malware, spam, or unlawful content; bypass access controls or misuse platform APIs; or falsely suggest endorsement by TikTok or another third party.
6. Third-party services
The Service depends on third-party infrastructure and platforms, including ChatGPT Sites, Cloudflare, and TikTok. Those services may be unavailable, delayed, changed, restricted, or discontinued. Mainstage does not control TikTok review, processing, posting limits, account restrictions, or publication decisions.
7. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, third parties, or to comply with law or platform requirements. You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, successful TikTok delivery, track or performer identification, audience performance, engagement, or publication eligibility.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mainstage will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, platform enforcement, or third-party claims arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms when the Service or applicable requirements change. The effective date identifies the latest version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
